Brookfield Golf Club in Cheshire

This new 18 hole golf course near Hankelow in Cheshire which was opened in 2002 and is 6100 yards long with a par of 70.

The new course was sensitively routed to fit into the existing landscape of mature trees, hedges and streams taking into account ecological and soil surveys.

As consultant to Roger Griffiths Associates, Steve worked very closely with the landowner who constructed the course using their own labour and a very good job they made of it too, without the pressure of outside golf course builders.

The course has proved to be a great success with a full membership within the first year and the course is now the venue for a variety of local championship events.
